GREENVILLE, PA - La Roche Softball was on the road yesterday to finish out their series with Thiel College. Game Two was originally meant to be played on Monday, April 17th, but was rained out after game one. 

Unfortunately, this contest did not have the same outcome as the first. The Redhawks outhit the Tomcats 12-8, Katie Gaughan went 3-for-4 to lead at the plate. Ashtin Hoover sacked a triple, Emma Bizay drove two doubles, and Abby Hoffman also hit a double of her own. Kennedi Winslow led the team in RBIs with 2; Garrah Milochik and Bizay each earned one. 

Ashtin Hoover took the loss in the circle for La Roche. Hoover allowed six hits and six runs over four innings. Winslow came in to throw the final two innings in relief. 

La Roche will be back on the road and back to conference play this Saturday against Alfred State. Game times are 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
