GROVE CITY, PA - This afternoon the Redhawks faced rough field conditions and even rougher weather in a matchup against Grove City. The contest was originally slated as a doubleheader, but due to field and weather conditions, both teams decided to only play one game. 

The Redhawks never gave up on the game, even when battling back looked bleak. They fought back and were able to put up six runs against a defensively tough Grove City team. 

Garrah Milochik went two-for-two at the plate to lead the team. The catcher also earned an RBI. Abby Hoffman also earned multiple this for La Roche. Emma Bizay, Alexis Myers, Brandi Clyde, Macy Vignoli, and Ashtin Hoover each contributed a hit for the day. Bizay led RBIs with 2. 

Alexis Myers took the loss for the Redhawks in the circle, with Ashtin Hoover coming in to pitch an inning in relief. 

The team will be back in action at Thiel on Wednesday for a quick single 7-inning game starting at 5:30.
