NEW WILMINGTON, PA – The men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2016 seasons at the Westminster Fisher Invitational on Friday evening. Both teams had a strong showing with the men placing sixth and the women seventh.
Hemang Sharma paced the Redhawks over the 8K race crossing the line with a time of 32:57 and 31st place. Patrick Dailey started his collegiate career with a quality race finishing at 33:22 and in 32nd place.
Andrea Luciano kicked off the year with a fast 30:32 6K while Brittany Craig and Morgan Churillaran very competitive races finishing in 33:05 and 33:23.
Next week La Roche will compete in the Bethany College Invitational, their second of four straight Saturday races.
