STEUBENVILLE, OH -- It was another week and another successful meet for the men's and women's cross country teams on Saturday. The men and women competed in the Franciscan University Invitational and placed fifth in both races.

Freshman Hemang Sharma had his strongest run of the year finishing in 33:40 on the 8K course. Johnny Nicholson placed twenty-sixth overall at 34:23 while Brandon Hartz came in at 35:23. Freshmen Tyler Jamison and Joseph Kelsch rounded out the varsity with a 35:35 and 38:17.

Andrea Luciano finished fifteenth pacing the women's team with a 24:22. RaeAnn Palmer crossed the lin at 25:42 with Brittany Craig (28:41), Amanda DeIuliss (29:32) and Morgan Churilla (30:43) coming in not far behind.

The cross country teams don't have to travel far for their next meet on October 10. They will run in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational at Schenley Park.
