
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche men's soccer announced its 2025 schedule on Friday.
Led by head coach Chris Karwoski, entering his third season, last year's 2024 season ended with a 2-11-2 overall mark and a 2-5-1 record in AMCC play. The Redhawks are looking to put an end to a four-year playoff drought.
La Roche has home cooking in 2025 with 10 of 15 games being played in the friendly confines of the Baierl Athletic Complex, including the first five games of the season.
The season opener takes place on Saturday, Aug. 30 against W&J at 4 pm, then are followed by matchups against Penn State Beaver (Sept. 2), Alma (Sept. 5), Westminster (Sept. 10) and Bethany (Sept. 13).
The lone non-conference road tilts follow, as the Redhawks take on St. Vincent (Sept. 17) and Waynesburg (Sept. 20), before returning home for another three-game home stretch.
The final non-conference tilt of the season against Wooster opens the homestand on Sept. 24, followed by the AMCC opener against Pitt-Bradford on Sept. 27. Carlow closes the three-game stretch on Sept. 30.
Four of the final six games will take place on the road, beginning with Alfred State (Oct. 4), then fixtures with Pitt-Greensburg (Oct. 14), Penn State Behrend (Oct. 18) and the regular season finale against Penn State Altoona on Oct. 28.
The final two home games in that six game stretch are slated to be against Hilbert (Oct. 11) and the home finale against Mt. Aloysius on Oct. 22.
