Redhawks Shut Down By Bobcats In Home Finale

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's soccer took its home turf for the final time in 2024, celebrating two seniors. However, in the end, it was Pitt-Greensburg coming out on top, 2-0.

All goal scoring was completed in the first half, as the Bobcats game-winning goal came at 27:34, followed by the insurance goal just before the half at 41:48

Maddox Anderson unfortunately saw his shutout stretch end at 217:34, stopping three of five shots that came his way.

On the offensive end, La Roche had seven shots in the game with three on goal.

Jesus Angel Jimenez and Malvin Madzimbamuto led the team with two shots each, while Jacob Packard and Aiden Mukanos-Kramer joined Jimenez with shots on goal.

The Redhawks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 26 when they travel to Hilbert for the regular season finale at 1 p.m.

La Roche can still make the AMCC Tournament and can do so anywhere between the four and six seeds depending on results Saturday and next week.
