ALTOONA, Pa. – La Roche men's soccer battled Penn State Altoona on Tuesday, unfortunately falling to the Lions 1-0.

The lone goal scored in the match came at 43:50 for Penn State Altoona, just 1:10 before halftime, which would go down as the game-winner.

La Roche had its fair share of chances throughout the contest, however, out of the 10 shots taken by the Redhawks, they were unable to place one on the frame.

The Lions would end the night with 20 total shots, with eight ending up on goal.

Between the pipes, sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Rizzo halted six of seven shots he faced, with a team save falling in the stat sheet as well.

Miles Jackson had a game high four shots offensively, while Jesus Angel Jimenez had two.

La Roche concludes its four game road trip on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 4:15 p.m.
