Men's Soccer Bested on the Road by Pitt Greensburg

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche Redhawks men's soccer team lost the final game of the season to Pitt.-Greensburg, with the final score being 7-0. La Roche finished this season with 1 win, 12 losses, and 1 tie.

 

Javin Melvin made Greensburg's first goal, unassisted, within the first minute of the game. The second goal was made in the middle of the first period by Ross Hartley, with an assist from Vinny Treonze. It was almost immediately followed up by a goal by Jason Argueta, assisted by Carson Gilarno & Javin Melvin. Javin Melvin would score again minutes later, assisted by Vinny Treonze. Ross Hartley scored another goal just before the period ended, unassisted. Carson Gilarno scored the first goal of the second period, and Gabriel Yeager scored the last one, both unassisted. 

 

La Roche played as hard as they could but were overwhelmed by Greensburg, with no recorded shots. Greensburg made a total of 27 shots, 13 of them on goal.
