Vicent, Abduljawad, Savochka Named to All-Conference Team

La Roche College is well represented on this year's AMCC Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams. Ximo Vicent and Firas Abduljawad were named to the AMCC All-Conference Second Team and Ty Savochka to the AMCC All-Conference Third Team.

AMCC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team

Ximo Vicent is no stranger to the AMCC All-Conference Team. Vicent was named to the All-Conference First Team in 2016, and the All-Conference Second Team in 2015 and 2017. He finished the 2018 season ranked sixth in the AMCC in both goals (6 goals) and points (21 points), and ranked twelfth in assists. He ended the season strong, scoring twice in an elimination game against Penn State Altoona and curling in a free-kick in the AMCC Quarterfinal.

Vincent is one of the top offensive players in the program's history. He closes his career as the Redhawks' leader in career (40 assists) and single season assists (14 assists) and fourth in career points (92 points).

Firas Abduljawad was one of the AMCC's top offensive players in 2018. He ranked fourth in the AMCC in points (22 points), sixth in goals (8 goals), and eighth in assists (6 assists). Abduljawad registered points in 7 of 9 conference games and had a four game goal-streak midway through the conference schedule. He started all eighteen games and had two game-winners.

Ty Savochka earns a spot on the AMCC All-Conference Third Team for the second year in a row. Savochka helped anchor a strong backline while also providing a quality scoring touch. He scored three goals including two against AMCC competition. He also took long ball free kicks for the Redhawks.
