PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse returned home for the first time since Mar. 23, but were unable to get past Hilbert, falling 24-2.

Hilbert took the early advantage, scoring six goals in the first quarter, all after the midway mark to lead 6-0.

The Hawks would net the first two goals if the second to lead 8-0, until Isaiah Hubbard found the back of the net for the Redhawks to make it 8-1.

Hilbert controlled the remainder of the half, scoring nine more times to lead 17-1 at the half.

The Hawks would then score three goals out of the half and four more in the fourth to build a 24-1 lead.

La Roche would score the finally tally of the game as Hubbard found Cody Budgick for a one-timer to end the scoring.

La Roche ended the game with 12 shots and seven shots on goal.

Anthony Grebiner led the team with five shots, while he, Budgick and Hubbard all had two shots on goal.

Goalie Connor Radecki faced 48 shots in the contest and came up with 24 saves.

The Redhawks close the home schedule on Saturday, Apr. 13 with Senior Day as they host Mount Vernon Nazarene. Opening faceoff set for 4 p.m.
