Redhawks Men's Lacrosse Falls To Lions

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse closed its five-game road trip against Bryn Athyn, falling to the Lions, 18-2.

The Redhawks struck first, scoring 31 seconds into the game when Robert Johnson scored his first of the season, unassisted.

The remainder of the first half was all Bryn Athyn, scoring 11 unanswered goals, including eight in the first and three in the second to take an 11-1 edge into the half.

Out of the break, the Lions tacked on the next four goals to make it 15-1, until La Roche got its second goal, scored by Johnson.

Bryn Athyn closed the third with one final goal, then two in the fourth quarter to close out the contest.

La Roche ended the game with six shots and two shots on goal.

Isaiah Hubbard led the team with three shots, followed by Johnson's two, both of which were on goal.

Goalie Connor Radecki faced 30 shots in the contest and came up with 12 saves.

La Roche returns home for the first time since Feb. 20 when it hosts Thiel on Wednesday, Mar. 20. Opening faceoff is set for 4 p.m.
