Redhawks Downed By Terriers In Road Matchup

HIRAM, Ohio – La Roche men's lacrosse continued its five-game road swing with part two on Wednesday, falling to Hiram 27-1.

Hiram took charge early, tallying 16 goals in the opening quarter, followed by four in second to take a 20-0 lead into halftime.

The Terriers tacked on six more goals in the third to make it 26-0, and then one in the fourth.

The Redhawks lone tally of the game came with just 12 seconds left, as Isaiah Hubbard found the back of the net, unassisted to lead to the eventual final score.

La Roche had seven shots in the game, with Hubbard placing three of four on the cage, while Ben Cademore was on target one of his two shots.

Goalie Connor Radecki faced 46 shots in the contest and came up with 19 saves.

The Redhawks now travel to Wilmington, Ohio to square-off against Wilmington on Saturday, Mar. 2. Opening faceoff is slated for 3 p.m.
