Men's Lacrosse Travels to Wells College; John Aiello Scoops His 100th Career Ground Ball

PITTSBURGH, PA - The men's lacrosse team headed up to Aurora, NY today to play their first conference matchup with the Wells College Express. 

Regrettably, the Redhawks were not able to come back with a win. 

Isaiah Hubbard led La Roche in scoring with three goals, assisted by Devin Wolford.
Wolford also scored a goal of his own. 

Cody Budgick also put a shot in the net, assisted by Benedict Mattingly

Defensively, John Aiello scooped up 20 ground balls, his season high, and he also snagged his 100th career ground ball as a Redhawk! Aiello also caused three turnovers. 

Aiden Wagner spent the entire 60 minutes in goal and was able to save 19 shots. 

La Roche is back in action this Wednesday in a conference contest against Medaille. First faceoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM at the Bairel Athletic Complex.
