Men's Lacrosse Tussles with the Terriers

HIRAM, OH- On this warm and sunny Saturday afternoon, men's lacrosse of La Roche University set out to take on the Terriers. Although the Redhawks weren't able to come home with a victory, they were able to show how the team is coming together with each game that they compete in. 

Isaiah Hubbard showed fantastic offensive instincts today and was able to complete three goals. One assisted by Devin Wolford, and two others unassisted. Hubbard also contributed two ground balls, and 11 shots. 

Wolfward also got some goals of his own, He added two, one assisted by Cody Budgick.  

Captain, John Aiello combined one goal to the tally. He also Scooped up five ground balls and caused two turnovers. 

Last, but certainly not least, Chauncie Mickens scored his first goal in his lacrosse career. He was able to score unassisted in the fourth period, adding the final goal for the Redhawks. 

Defensively, Abdallah Al-Habsi, Ulrich Sobehart, and Cesar Callarino all caused turnovers. In goal, Aiden Wagner hung tough all sixty minutes, and saved 16 shots. 

The Redhawks will take a short break and return on March 16th with a road trip to Bethany, and some game play under the lights.
