NEW CONCORD, OH - The men's lacrosse team of La Roche University took to the road this evening to face Muskingum on North Turf Field. In their first game of the season the Redhawks fought a hard battle, but ultimately did not come out with a win.
Even though the outcome was not what the team could have wanted there are some brightsides. Aiden Wagner had 23 saves, 10 ground balls, and two shots on goal; the Redhawks goalie proved to be versatile.
Devin Wolford also helped the team out with a shot on goal and three ground balls. Another player shining tonight was John Aiello. Aiello captured three ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
The Redhawks will be back in action this Saturday at Mt. St. Joseph at 1 PM.
