PITTSBURGH, PA -- The La Roche men's lacrosse team dropped a 27-5 game against Thiel on a chilly and windy Wednesday afternoon. 

Brent Burkhouse buried a feed from Brad LaBovick to get the Redhawks on the board with 7:40 left in the first quarter. LaBovick found his way into the back of the net less than six minutes later.

La Roche went scoreless in the second quarter, but found a pair of scores in the third quarter. Devin Wolford provided the game's only man-up goal and Charlie King slipped in a score late in the third. 

Shawn McDanel won the fourth quarter's opening facebook and immediately found LaBovick for the team's final tally.

LaBovick finished with 2 goals and 2 assists. Burkhouse and Wolford each had a goal and an assist and McDanel provided a helper. McDanel had 14 ground balls and tied Hemang Sharma for a team-lead three turnovers.
