HAMBURG, NY -- The La Roche men's lacrosse team dropped their AMCC Conference opener at Hilbert on Saturday afternoon. The Redhawks fall to 0-8 after the 26-1 loss.

Brent Burkhouse scored his third goal of the season and Austen Lunt added the helper. Lunt's goal streak ends at seven games but his point streak remains alive.

Shawn McDanel finished with 6 ground balls and Hemang Sharma forced 3 turnovers.

Joel Chavez made 9 saves in net.

The Redhawks will host Medaille College on Friday for senior day. Alex Riegel, Nick Mysnyk, Hemang Sharma, Brad LaBovick, Abdullah Fallatah and Gino DiPerna will be honored.
