Young Redhawks Improving Despite Loss at Chatham

PITTSBURGH, PA -- The La Roche men's lacrosse team continues to show improvement despite coming up short for the second time this season. The Redhawks took the road against a tough Chatham squad, but ultimately fell the to Cougars 20-3.

La Roche received strong performances from their young players. Austen Lent continues to light up the scoreboard and finished with a goal and an assist. Abdullah Fallahtah reached a milestone, slipping a shot past the Chatham keeper for his first career tally. Senior Alex Riegel also got in on the action, adding a fourth quarter score.

Shane McDaniel was solid in the faceoff circle and led La Roche in ground balls and caused turnovers. Goalkeeper Charlie King made 8 stops while Bryan Pajewski and Janet Aland made their collegiate debuts.

The Redhawks are off this weekend and they will welcome W&J to the Baierl Athletic Complex next Wednesday.
