
ELMIRA, NY – Dustin Reykdal scored 4 goals and Mike Kenski added 3 goals but La Roche Men's Lacrosse (0-3) fell to Elmira College (1-0) 19-8 in non-conference action on Saturday.
In addition to Reykdal's 4 goals and Kenski's 3 goals, Jon Monahan netted his first collegiate goal. Crawford Healy snapped his eleven game goal streak but finished with three assists and Jean Guillaume-Thouin added an assist. Bryce Wells, Brad Nylen, and Blaine Shaffner each finished with 3 ground balls a piece.
Despite the loss, the Redhawks won the faceoff battle 15-14 and Reykdal went 4-1 on faceoffs. La Roche also converted 19 of their 22 clears and took 42 shots.
La Roche Lacrosse will host Alvernia University (1-1) on Tuesday at 7:00PM in their first-ever meeting. Alvernia is coming off of a 13-4 win over Wells College on Saturday.
