PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's golf hosted the La Roche Invitational on Monday at the Wildwood Golf Club, welcoming 15 teams and a total of 80 golfers.
La Roche fielded two teams in the tournament, with the Redhawks A team placing T-11th with a 355 and the B team placing 14th with a 379.
Noah Talarico was the leader of team A, turning in a card of 88 to finish T-32nd, while Caden Farrell and Josh Kapcin followed, each shooting and 89 to finish T-39th.
Rounding out team A was Shaun Pfeifer, whose 18-hole score of 92 placed him T-59th.
Team B was led by Tyler Campbell, who match Pfeifer with a 92 and T-59th, followed by Connor Greer and Joe Starzynski who finished T-64th with a score of 93.
Trevor Smulik finished the invitational with a score of 101 to place 77th and Daniel McCaffrey rounded out team B's scoring with a 103 to finish 78th.
The next tournament for La Roche takes place next Monday, Oct. 2 when the Redhawks host the La Roche Invitational.
