ERIE, PA. - La Roche men's golf placed 5th out of 10 teams at the Penn St. Behrend Invite this afternoon at the Lawerence Park Golf Club, finishing with a team score of 337. All 10 teams were AMCC competitors, the host school took the crown with a team score of 313. Today's invite is the final of the regular season for the Redhawks. They will participate in the AMCC Championships at Avalon Lakes Golf Club in Warren, Ohio October 13th and 14th. Penn St. Behrend has won the conference title 8 out of the last 10 years.
Seniors Pat McCall (Elizabeth, PA) and David Wilson (Clinton, PA) were the Redhawks top finishers today tying for 17th overall out of 50 competitors, each player shot an 83 on the day. Last year at the event, McCall shot a career best 70 strokes and won the event while Wilson finished 6th shooting a 75.
