Redhawks Take Third At AMCC Championships, Pat McCall On All-Tournament Team

WARREN, OH -- La Roche College Golf moved up a spot on Day 2 of the AMCC Championships to bring home the bronze at this year's championship. The Redhawks entered the final day in fourth place, but they shot a solid 316 on the par 72 Avalon Lakes golf course to place third. La Roche finished the two day tournament with a 640 (324, 316). Pitt-Bradford earned the team title while Penn State Behrend was runner-up. The Redhawks edged out Penn State Altoona by a stroke.

Pat McCall was named to the All-Tournament team after tying for fifth place. McCall followed his Day One 75 with a Day Two 80 and a two day total of 155. 

Tyler Booher climbed into the top 10 with an eagle and a Day Two 77. He finished the tournament with a 159.

Tom O'Toole jumped into twelfth place with the day's fifth best score. O'Toole shot a Day Two 76 and 161 for the tournament.

David Wilson tied for twenty-first and shot 166 (82, 84). Kordell Collins had a solid second day to shoot a 174 (91, 83).

This is the third straight year the Redhawks have placed in the top three.
