La Roche in Tight Race After First Day of AMCC Championships

WARREN, OH -- The La Roche men's golf team is tied for fourth place after Day 1 of the AMCC Golf Championships at Avalon Lakes Golf Club. Penn State Behrend sits in first at 295 while just two strokes seperate second and fourth place. The Redhawks are tied with Pitt-Bradford at 314.

Ben Mullins is tied for fourth place after the first day. He shot a 2-over par 74 with a 37 on both the front and back nines. Pat McCall finished just one stroke back at 75 including an even par 36 over the first nine holes. David Wilson ended the day with an 82 and Tom O'Toole with an 83. Tyler Booher carded an 85 for the Redhawks.

Medaille's Corey Donoghue and Penn State Behrend's Jack Perfett and Sean Sculley are tied for the overall lead at 72.

The Redhawks will tee off tomorrow at 9:40am.
