Mullins and O'Toole Take Individual Titles, Redhawks Win Mt. Aloysius Invitaitional

ALTOONA/CRESSON, PA -- La Roche golf concluded an incredible weekend in Central Pennsylvania with a pair of invididual wins and a team win. Ben Mullins won his second straight invitational with a 2-under par 70 at the Penn State Altoona Inviational. Just a day later at Mt. Aloysius, Tom O'Toole earned his first career win and the Redhawks edged out Penn State Behrend for the team win. 

Six Redhawks shot in the 70s at Altoona's Sinking Valley Country Club and La Roche finished just one shot off the lead with a team 299 to Grove City's 298. Mullins defended his 2016 Penn State Altoona Invitational win and David Wilson tied for fifth with a 74. Pat McCall tied for fifteenth with a 77 while Kordell Collins and Tom O'Toole shot 78s to tie for twenty-third. Tyler Booher shot a 7-over 79.

O'Toole paced the Redhawks in their Mt. Aloysius Invitational victory at Summit Country Club. He shot a career-best 2-under par 70 to win the invitational by three strokes. Mullins shot a 74 to place in the top 5 for the fourth straight match and David Wilson enjoyed a top 10 finish with a 76. Kordell Collins entered the clubhouse with an 81 to help the Redhawks edge Penn State Behrend by a stroke. Pat McCall shot a 76 to place in the top 10 as an individual.

The Redhawks will take tomorrow off before hosting their invitational on Tuesday at Wildwood Golf Club.
