Men's Golf Finishes Second at Penn State Behrend

ERIE, PA – Jared Vetica shot a one-over par 73 and Nolan Shank and Kevin Loutsenhizer shot three and four over-par rounds respectively to guide La Roche men's golf to a second place finish at the Penn State Behrend Invitational at Peek N' Peak.

The Redhawks finished just three strokes behind host Penn State Behrend and six strokes ahead of Grove City and Thiel who tied for third place. La Roche also finished 2nd out of the 8 AMCC Conference participants.

Reed Tomlinson shot a season-best 81 to finish in 29th place and Nick Krizmanich carded a 91 in his first collegiate start.

The top 3 finish is Vetica's second this season and Loutsenhizer and Shank's top 10 finish is their third of the year.

La Roche men's golf will travel to Glen Oak Country Club on Saturday for the Medaille Golf Invitational. Last season Kevin Loutsenhizer shot an even-par 72 to lead the Redhawks to the team title.
