Redhawks Fall by Two Buckets in Harold J. Brodie Tournament

ROCHESTER, NY - In the championship game of the Harold J. Brodie Tournament, La Roche fell just short to the tournament hosts, the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers.

The first half was a rough showing for the Redhawks, only scoring 24 points to the Tiger's 47. La Roche wasn't having any luck hitting a field goal, only shooting 30% from the field.

After halftime, the team came back out with vengeance and it showed on defense. Jordan Grayson corralled himself another double-double of the season. The senior created 19 points, snagged 12 rebounds and recorded 4 blocks.

The Redhawks also picked up their offensive game, outscoring the Tigers 53-34 in the second half. The team's shooting percentage increased by over 20%, and their three-point shots found the back of the net.

Devon Darrell not only hit 24 points in this battle, but he also scored his 1,000th  collegiate career point. This is a feat the senior was able to accomplish with points from D'Youville, where he played his first two years of college ball, and now with his Redhawk family, he was able to build onto the tally.

Although La Roche did everything right in the second half, the devastation from the first was too great, and they couldn't battle back. The team fell to the Tigers by just four points
