MARIETTA, OH - Men's basketball took on the Marietta Pioneers to fight it out for third place on the final day of the Marietta Shrine Tournament. The Redhawks fought their hardest, coming back from a 12-point deficit, but in the end, it was not enough to bring home the win.
Jordan Grayson led the scoring which is no surprise as the senior went 57% in shots tonight. Grayson totaled 20 points in this afternoon's matchup and 4 rebounds.
Devon Darrell and Joe Pipilo both earned double digits tonight. Darrell had 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal. Pipilo recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 block.
Mike Brooks led the defensive charge leading rebounds with 7. He also added 9 points for this team.
La Roche will take a few days off before they are back on the roaded headed to Case Western Reserve, tip-off is at 7:00 PM.
