Zach Gould, Jenna Cole Earn Spots on All-Region Team

La Roche College men's basketball senior guard Zach Gould and women's basketball junior forward Jenna Cole have earned spots on the All-Region Team. Both were named to D3Hoop's Great Lakes All-Region Second Team.

Gould joins Nathan Wojciechowski as one of two Redhawks to earn spots on D3Hoops All-Region Team. He also became the program's second AMCC Player of the Year (Nathan Wojciechowski '11) and the first to win the award outright.

Gould was one of the nation's top shooters from long range. He led the AMCC with 87 three-pointers and shot 47.3% from three-point range, which ranks as the sixth highest in AMCC history. He ranked second in the AMCC with 15.3 points per game, third in free throw percentage, and sixth in assist to turnover ratio.

Gould was the AMCC Player of the Week, a 1000 point scorer, and named to the All-Tournament Team. He ranks among the program's leaders in assists and three-pointers.

Cole becomes the fifth women's basketball player to earn all-region honors. She was named the AMCC Player of the Year after leading the conference and ranking eighteenth nationally in scoring average. Her 20.1 points per game are the eighth most in AMCC history.

Cole was an offensive threat all over the court and she scored in double-figures in every game. She led the AMCC in field goals and free throws, ranked second in free throw percentage, sixth in field goal percentage, and ninth in three-point percentage. She was strong on the boards, ranking sixth in offensive rebounds and eleventh in total rebounds.

Cole has made the AMCC All-Conference Team three times and she is a 1000 point scorer.
