Men's Hoops Closes Regular Season With Perfect Conference Record

ALTOONA, PA -- For the first time in school history, men's hoops is undefeated in AMCC Conference play. The Redhawks finish their regular season in a blow out game against Penn State Altoona to become the first-ever AMCC team to win eighteen conference games. Altoona went 6-12 in the regular season.

The final score of tonight's game was 95-61. Austin Hannes was the lead scorer of the Redhawks tonight with 16 points followed Caden Kryz with 15.

Hannes said, "Us going 18-0 really proves the team saying that we have: we run it." The guys are very proud of themselves for the successful season and rightfully so. La Roche has never had a men's basketball team do this well in the regular season.

Zach Gould and Darrell Barron both put up 12 points tonight to contribute to the team's 95. The team is grateful for those who have supported them this year.

Also, for the second time ever, men's and women's hoops will both be hosting the AMCC championship weekend this year. Those games will happen next weekend.
