Sean Lubin enters his sixth season as the assistant coach of the baseball program in 2020-21.

In his role as an assistant, Lubin serves primarily as the teams recruiting coordinator and hitting coach. During his first season as an assistant in 2015-16, the Redhawks won the conference title, the regional championship and went on to the College World Series where they finished among the top four teams. Since then, the Redhawks have won three straight AMCC tournament titles (2017, 2018, 2019).

Lubin graduated from La Roche in 2015 where he was a four year member of the baseball team under coach Chase Rowe. He was selected to the AMCC All-Conference team three-times throughout his career as a short stop, making the first team his senior season. Lubin was a part of two La Roche AMCC Tournament Championship teams as a player in 2012 & 2014.

Lubin is a 2010 graduate of South Fayette High School. While at South Fayette he was an all-section infielder and was a part of a state runner up finish in 2009.
