• The Redhawks are off to a 6-0 start to their season and rank tied for first in the AMCC standings with Alfred St. who is also 6-0 in AMCC play

• La Roche is coming off 7-1 and 14-1 wins over Altoona. The team posted 11 extra-base hits in the doubleheader (five home runs, five doubles and a triple)
• Four Redhawks rank in the top five of battting average in the AMCC (1st Jay Novak, .640 | 2nd Nathan Stutz, .556 | 3rd Tristan Tinney, .500 | 5th Austin Hoffman, .464)
• Senior outfiedler Dylan Urban was named the AMCC Player of the Week
• Senior pitcher Jake Seymour is the only pitcher in the conference and one of three pitchers in the nation with 0.00 ERA who has pitched at least 10 innings.

• The Behrend Lions enter the doubleheader with a 12-4 overall record and 5-1 conference mark
• Behrend dropped a non-conference single nine-inning game 13-4 to Fredonia on Wednesday
• The Lions held a 4-3 lead through seven innings before the Blue Devils combined for 10 runs in the final two innings
• Tanner Cicchini led with a 2-for-5 showing while Zac Bogats had two stolen bases
• Earlier in the week, sophomore Derrick Shields was named AMCC Pitcher of the Week
• Shields threw a three-hit complete game shutout with eight strikeouts last week against Pitt-Bradford. He is ranked second in the AMCC in total strikeouts with 26
