NCAA Regional: La Roche Heads to Adrian, Michigan; Play Denison in Opening Game

La Roche University is heading to Adrian, Michigan for this year's NCAA Baseball Regional. The Redhawks will open with Denison University on Friday with Adrian and Heidelberg rounding out the field.

The Redhawks earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Regional after winning the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship. This is La Roche's seventh NCAA Regional appearance and their sixth in a row. The Redhawks won the 2016 NCAA Mideast Regional Championship and advanced to the College World Series where they placed third nationally.

Denison earned an automatic berth after beating Wooster to win the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship. The Big Red are making their second straight appearance in the NCAA Regional. The Redhawks are 1-1 all-time vs. Denison.

Adrian earned an automatic berth after winning the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship. The Bulldogs are making their thirteenth NCAA Regional appearance. Adrian advanced to the College World Series in 2008

Heidelberg earned an at-large bid out of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Student Princes are making their eighth NCAA Regional appearance and their first since 2015. Heidelberg advanced to the College World Series in 2010.
