Brandon Nania homered and drove in three. Troy Kifer hit in two while Jonathan Spina scored twice.

Mt. Aloysius struck first, taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.

The Redhawks fought back in the bottom of the second inning. Spina led off the inning with a double and Nania followed with a 2-run shot deep over the right-centerfield wall and a 2-1 Redhawk lead. La Roche never looked back as Holman cruised over the final eight innings.

La Roche extended their lead in the fourth inning. The Redhawks used a pair of bunts to place runners on first and second and AMCC walks leader Jay Novak drew ball four to load the bases. Kifer came through with a 2-run single to score Spina and Roebuck and stretch their lead to three runs.

La Roche gave Holman a cushion with a run in the bottom of the eighth. Tristen Tinney launched a ball just inches short of a home run to advance to third with a standup triple. Nania used a groundout to first base to score Tinney and a 5-1 lead.

Holman followed with a scoreless ninth inning to advance the Redhawks in the AMCC Tournament winner's bracket.
