The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sport of baseball for the period running from May 7-13, 2018.
Baseball (Pitcher): La Roche SR Shane Emrich tossed four scoreless innings over four appearances. He struck out seven batters and picked up two saves. He closed out two AMCC Tournament games including the AMCC Championship Game.
Baseball (Player): La Roche OF Dylan Urban hit a grand slam to overcome a 3-1 seventh inning deficit and help La Roche beat Pitt-Greensburg 7-3 in the AMCC Championship Game. Urban drove in five runs on the day as the Redhawks picked up their fifth straight AMCC Championship. Urban leads the AMCC in stolen bases.
