La Roche College Baseball alumni Angel Sanchez and Luis Navedo were recently honored with induction into the Home Field Hunter Hall of Fame. Home Field Hunter is the collegiate placement program for the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy.
Angel and Luis graduated from the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy in June of 2013 where they excelled both on the field and in the classroom. They were each selected as valedictorian and furthered their education here at La Roche.
Angel and Luis graduated from La Roche this spring, both with honors.
Angel completed a dual Bachelor's Degree on Psychology and Sociology with Dean of Students Award, Who is Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, Ibn-Khaldun Award and was nominee for the President's Award. He is currently employed on campus as an admissions counselor.
Luis completed his Bachelor's Degree on Science of Information Technologies with Cum Laude Honors, Coach Scott Lang Memorial Award for Sports Leadership, Who is Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, and was nominee for the President's Award.
Angel and Luis were part of La Roche College Baseball team who finished third in the 2016 NCAA D3 College World Series.
