La Roche Baseball pitchers James Connelly and Jesse Bauer have been named to D3Baseball's All-Mideast Region Team. Connelly is a Second Team Selection and Bauer makes the Third Team.
Connelly finishes his career as one of the most accomplished pitchers in La Roche College Baseball history. Earlier this season he broke the school record for career wins and he currently ranks second in the AMCC Conference in ERA and starts, fourth in innings pitched, and fifth in opposing batting average and wins. He was also the AMCC Player of the Week on March 11 and an AMCC All-Conference Second Team performer.
Bauer is a Third Team honoree after anchoring the Redhawks' bullpen for the past two seasons. He led the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference in saves, appearances, games finished, and games in relief and currently ranks as La Roche's all-time saves leader.
Connelly and Bauer are the first La Roche baseball players to make the All-Region Team.
