In the 2003-2004 season, the Men's Basketball Team won La Roche College's first AMCC Basketball Championship.

The Redhawk Baseball Team was Regular Season Champions in 2007 and AMCC Tournament Runner-Up in 2006 and 2007.

La Roche College is an original founding member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) established in 1997.

La Roche College is a full member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). The Redhawks are eligible to compete for all championships sponsored by both governing bodies.

La Roche College offers 12 varsity intercollegiate sports, as well as cheerleading.

In 12 years of competition in the AMCC, more than 200 La Roche College student athletes have been named to AMCC All-Conference teams.

The Lady Redhawks Women's Softball team won three AMCC Tournament Championships (2000, 2001, 2002) and a Regular Season Championships (2007).

Andrew Musinguzi won the AMCC cross country championship in 2000 by more than:50, was chosen as AMCC men's cross country MVP, and selected to the All-ECAC team.

Five La Roche College athletes have led the nation in NCAA Division III statistical categories within their respective sports. Kristy Pfister (women’s softball) led the nation in runs scored in 2000 and Kayla Strittmatter (women’s softball) led the nation in triples per game in 2009. Lindsay Talbot (women's soccer) led the nation in goals per game in 2001. Eric McCombie (baseball) led the nation in hit by pitches per game in 2007. Marlis Graves (women’s basketball) led the nation in steals per game during the 2006-2007 season.

NCAA Division III News has named two of La Roche College's men's basketball players as Honorable Mention All-American. Damian Hall in 1999 and 2000, and Marcess Williams in 2001.

La Roche College's Kerr Fitness & Sports Center is a state-of-the-art, 42,000 square foot gymnasium. This facility houses the basketball courts, dance and karate studio, weight room with new cardiovascular machines along with new nautilus machines and free weights, and racquetball courts.

The softball, baseball, and soccer fields have been completely renovated. These facilities have become distinctly unique and not found at many NCAA Division III institutions.

La Roche College has served as a host site for many WPIAL playoffs games including boy's and girl's basketball, girl's volleyball, and girl's softball.

More than 2,500 basketball campers pass through the doors of La Roche College during the summer months. La Roche College hosts camps for boy's and girl's in the sports of basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball.
